Marc René DESCHENAUX is a native French speaker, and is able to carry out high level
negotiations in English, German and Italian. He has knowledge of Spanish and Arabic. His Chinese
is in progress.
EDUCATION: PhD candidate in law at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, master’s degree in
economic law, certification in transnational law, certification on the “Leading with Finance” course
at Harvard Business School.
Mr Deschenaux was registered as a general securities representative (series 7) and general securities
principal (series 24) by the North American Securities Dealers Association. He was a member of
the National Investment Banking Association.
HONORS: Mr Deschenaux was elected to the Who’s Who Legal Capital Markets in 2020 and as
Man of the Year to the International Who’s Who of Professionals (1999), and in 2003 he was invited
by the United States Securities and Exchange Commission to speak at the 22nd Annual Government
Business Forum on Small Business Capital Formation.
He was the treasurer, and a judge-mediator, at the International Court of Mediation and Arbitration
(CIMEDA) from 2012 to 2020. He is now an Ambassador of the African Court of Mediation and
Arbitration (CAMAR).
