Registration
To file your business’s shares, you need to pay a registration fee as per the requirement of SEC.
This fee can be determined using a two-step process, as per the official SEC website, SEC.gov.
Step one requires you to multiply the sum of shares to be reported by the total offering price
per share suggested.
The value of any payments offered will then be added to this amount, giving you the cumulative
offering price. Step two directs you to determine the overall total registration fee, which is the
cumulative offering price multiplied by the existing fee rate. The calculation is illustrated in
the following example:
